Preparing a report is an essential part of an IDP Council’s work. The report’s clarity, meaningful content, and transparency determine whether the community, partners, and authorities will trust the Council.
On March 28, a webinar titled “Reporting by IDP Councils: Key Stages, Structure, and Content” was held for members of the IDP Councils.
Together with Anastasiia Serbina, an expert on internal displacement and democratic governance and the founder of the AS Training Group, the participants explored the following topics:
- What reports exist, and what should be considered at each preparation stage?
- What legal requirements apply to the reporting of IDP Councils?
- How do you structure a report, and what key information must it include?
- What remarks on reporting are included in the Analytical Report of the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On the Activities of Councils on Internally Displaced Persons”?
The webinar was organized within the “Support to the Capacity of Government Institutions and Local Communities to Strengthen Social Protection Systems in Ukraine” project, which was implemented with the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
