We are happy to share great news with you: the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” has prepared the second edition of the “Advisor for IDP Councils”. The electronic version of the guide can be downloaded to your device and actively used in the day-to-day work of your IDP Council.
The Advisor for IDP Councils is a practical guide for the everyday activities of an IDP Council. It explains how to work confidently, clearly, and in line with existing rules, regulations, and official decisions.
The guide will be useful for members of IDP Councils, heads and secretaries of councils, those who have recently established an IDP Council, those who want to streamline and improve council work, as well as everyone working with internally displaced people at the local level.
The second edition of the Advisor for IDP Councils includes six sections:
Section 1. Tasks and rights of an IDP Council: what do they mean in practice?
Section 2. What is important to know about updating the composition of an IDP Council?
Section 3. How to organise and hold an IDP Council meeting: a step-by-step guide
Section 4. How to record and properly prepare meeting minutes of an IDP Council
Section 5. Mentoring support for IDP Councils
Section 6. Knowledge library for IDP Councils: training videos
More details are available in the guide. Save it, browse through it, use it in your work, and return to it whenever you need a helpful reference.
