This template will help you organize the work of your IDP Council: simply use the ready-made structure and adapt it to your community.
What will you find in the template?
The document already sets out the main rules for the work of an IDP Council, including its tasks and powers, the procedure for forming its membership, members’ rights, and the roles of the Chair, Deputy Chair and Secretary. It also covers how meetings are conducted, how proposals and recommendations are adopted, as well as work planning and reporting.
The template also addresses practical issues that often arise in the Council’s work, such as how to involve representatives of other organizations and experts, establish working groups, publish information about the Council’s activities, and make changes to its membership.

Download the document and adapt it to your IDP Council. The template includes fields that need to be completed, such as the name of the authority under which the Council was established, details of the decision or order establishing the Council, and other relevant information.
