Up to EUR 10,000 for Local Initiatives: NGOs and Communities Can Receive Grants from Slovakia

Civil society organizations, charitable foundations, and local self-government authorities in Ukraine can receive up to EUR 10,000 to implement local projects under the Small Grants Program announced by the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC) and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine.

Funding will be provided for projects lasting from 6 to 12 months. The competition supports initiatives focused on:

  • food security and agriculture;
  • support for small and medium-sized enterprises;
  • development of local infrastructure;
  • education and professional development;
  • healthcare;
  • development of civil society and good governance.

The organizers also encourage applicants to integrate the principles of gender equality and environmental responsibility into their projects.

Applications may be submitted by registered non-profit organizations, civil society organizations, local self-government authorities, and regional self-government bodies.

Application deadline: June 15, 2026. Please note that documents must be submitted both electronically and in hard copy.

IDP Councils may share information about the grant competition among active internally displaced persons within their communities.
