Non-governmental organizations can receive up to USD 75,000 from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to implement projects that will help communities develop and introduce local policies for the reintegration of veterans*. Applications are open until 17 July 2026.
The grant competition aims to support partner communities in developing effective local veteran reintegration policies and programmes, strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation, engaging veterans in decision-making processes, enhancing community capacity, and building local support ecosystems.
Civil society and charitable organizations with legal entity status are eligible to apply, provided they operate in government-controlled areas of Ukraine and have experience implementing projects in community development or civil society development.
IDP Councils members who represent or work with civil society or charitable organizations may initiate and participate in project proposals.
The project will be implemented in partner communities across the Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska, Poltavska, Sumska, Kharkivska, Khersonska, and Chernihivska oblasts. One organization will be selected to coordinate project implementation across all participating communities.
The maximum grant amount is USD 75,000, and the project duration is 12 months. The planned implementation start date is July 2026.
