The Call for Nominations for the National Award “For the Future” Has Opened

The Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” has launched the call for nominations for the National Award “For the Future” — recognizing individuals whose actions are transforming the lives of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and communities.

The award aims to support and highlight effective practices, including the protection of IDP rights, the implementation of innovative solutions, the development of partnerships, and the promotion of integration within communities.

Eligible nominees include representatives of IDP Councils, internally displaced persons, as well as representatives of civil society and charitable organizations and local self-government bodies.

Applications may be submitted either through self-nomination or by nominating another individual. Multiple applications across different nomination categories are allowed. The award categories include: “Leadership and Advocacy,” “Innovation and Initiatives,” “Power of Collaboration,” and the special award “IDP Council Community Choice,” granted to an initiative or activity of an IDP Council that receives the highest level of support from the IDP Council community through an online vote on the IDP Councils Portal.

Applications are open from May through September 2026 (inclusive). The winners will be announced during the IV All-Ukrainian IDP Councils Forum.

Nominations must be submitted via the IDP Councils Portal on the “For the Future” page.
