Local civil society organizations from 11 regions of Ukraine can receive funding for 5–6 months to provide protection services to vulnerable groups, including children, internally displaced people (IDPs), veterans*, persons with disabilities, and others. Applications are open until May 27, 2026.
Who Can Apply
Local civil society organizations registered or operating in one of the target regions are invited to apply: Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska, Poltavska, Donetska, Kharkivska, Chernihivska, Sumska, Khersonska, Kirovohradska, and Odeska oblasts. Eligibility by geographic area may vary depending on the selected lot, so applicants are encouraged to verify this before applying.
Priority beneficiaries include children and youth, women, internally displaced people (including those evacuated from temporarily occupied territories), persons with disabilities and their caregivers, veterans, families of fallen and missing military personnel, representatives of Roma communities, and people facing difficult life circumstances.
The aim of the grant competition is to provide comprehensive protection services to vulnerable war-affected populations by strengthening the capacity of local civil society organizations to deliver high-quality, accessible, and timely protection services, while also enhancing community resilience and supporting frontline responders.
By “protection services,” the organizers mean a комплекс of social, psychological, legal, humanitarian, and medical support for priority beneficiaries.

Within the grant competition, organizations may receive funding ranging from USD 25,000 to USD 100,000, depending on the lot and the scale of the project.
Application deadlines:
- Concept notes must be submitted by May 20, 2026, at 09:00.
- Full application forms must be submitted by May 27, 2026, at 09:00.
Applications submitted after the indicated deadlines will not be considered.
