Young people from small hromadas (with a population of up to 5,000 residents) can receive funding to implement their own ideas aimed at hromada development. Applications are open to both local residents and internally displaced persons aged 14–35, provided they have been living in the hromada for at least one year before the competition announcement.
For IDP youth, this is an opportunity to become an active part of hromada life, contribute to solving local challenges, launch educational or volunteer initiatives, and develop youth spaces or new services for young people. Such initiatives can strengthen hromada cohesion and create new opportunities for local development.
The program is implemented by the Ukrainian Youth Foundation. The grant program supports youth initiatives that help increase youth engagement and create new opportunities for self-realization and community development, including:
- educational and cultural initiatives;
- environmental or volunteer projects;
- activities promoting youth participation and leadership;
- creation or development of youth spaces;
- training, forums, camps, and other educational events for young people.
The grant amount ranges from UAH 50,000 to UAH 200,000.
The total budget of the program is UAH 45 million, which will allow support for more than 200 youth projects in small hromadas across Ukraine.
Application deadline: March 31, 2026, via the Ukrainian Youth Foundation website.
Winning projects will be implemented from June 1 to October 31, 2026.
