The Western Ukrainian Forum of IDP Councils will take place on October 9–10 in Lviv. Representatives of IDP Councils from eight oblasts, Lvivska, Volynska, Rivnenska, Khmelnytska, Ternopilska, Ivano-Frankivska, Chernivetska, and Zakarpatska, will come together for an interregional event to exchange experiences, listen to each other, and develop joint proposals for local authorities, as well as new initiatives to strengthen their work.
The aim of the event is to bring together IDP Council members to better understand the challenges faced by internally displaced people and to develop practical ideas that can help them adapt more quickly to their new communities with the support of IDP Councils. The Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services seeks to strengthen the capacity of IDP Councils so they can more effectively advocate for the rights of displaced people and remove the barriers that prevent them from feeling confident and comfortable in their new environments.
The program of the event will include panel discussions, interactive sessions, and workshops.
The Forum will also feature a presentation of the IDP Councils Portal, an information platform created to support and strengthen IDP Councils across Ukraine.

• Successful advocacy campaigns by IDP Councils;
• Influence on housing and social policy;
• Vision for the development of IDP Councils through 2027.
