Representatives of local self-government bodies and IDP Councils will be able to receive ready-to-use crisis communication protocols, statement templates, and checklists for working in situations of uncertainty. The practical webinar “Crisis Communication Protocols for Local Self-Government Bodies and IDP Councils” will help community teams respond quickly to crisis situations, communicate effectively with residents, and maintain trust in local authorities.
During the training, participants will learn how to build effective communication in crisis situations and avoid information mistakes that may increase tensions within hromadas.
The webinar program includes:
- identifying different types of crises at early stages;
- applying the CERC model and the seven key steps of crisis response;
- preparing the first public statements during a crisis;
- formulating responses to challenging questions from the public and the media.
Participants will also receive practical tools for their daily work, including communication message templates, methodological recommendations, and readiness checklists for crisis situations. These materials will help communication units of hromadas and IDP Councils organize their work more systematically during emergencies.
The training will take place on March 24 and 25. During registration, participants can choose the date that is most convenient for them. Registration for the webinar is available via the link (Ukrainian language).
