Grant of up to PLN 10,000 to support IDPs and hromadas

Applications are open until May 3, 2026 for the Stand with Ukraine Foundation grant competition, which supports projects assisting people affected by the war.

The competition includes two key programmes:

“Emergency Assistance for Ukraine” — support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), older people, persons with disabilities, and families affected by shelling;

“Safe Education in Ukraine” — creation of safe learning conditions for children and youth.

Priority is given to projects implemented in frontline hromadas and areas that have suffered destruction.

IDP Councils can act as initiators of cooperation between local self-government bodies, civil society organizations, and charitable foundations. They are often the first to identify opportunities, propose project ideas, and help organizations better understand the needs of internally displaced people. In many hromadas, this becomes a decisive factor in developing high-quality, relevant projects.

For donors, this is a strong signal that a project is grounded in real needs and has genuine hromada support.

Application deadline: May 3, 2026.

Announcement of results: by May 15, 2026.

Project implementation period: July 1 – November 30, 2026.
