Free IT Training: IDPs Can Join the “Resilience” Program

Practical digital skills, career support, a flexible online format, and a certificate upon completion — these are the opportunities offered by the “Resilience” program implemented by Beetroot Academy and Helvetas Ukraine. Participants can enroll in free training courses in digital marketing, software testing, project management, and digital workplace skills.

Beetroot Academy, in partnership with Helvetas Ukraine, has launched enrollment for the free educational program “Resilience,” aimed at supporting people affected by the war who seek to gain a new profession or strengthen their skills for work in the digital sector.

The program will help participants acquire relevant knowledge for remote work, professional retraining, and future employment in Ukrainian companies, including:

  • practical skills and work on real-life cases;
  • training guided by experienced professionals;
  • career consultations and job search support;
  • a flexible online learning format;
  • a certificate upon successful course completion.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to:

  • internally displaced persons (IDPs);
  • veterans and demobilized service members;
  • family members of defenders, including prisoners of war, missing persons, and families of fallen defenders;
  • people who have returned from abroad or from other regions of Ukraine to resume their professional activities;
  • people facing difficult life circumstances, including single parents, members of large families, people with disabilities, and their caregivers.

What courses are available?

All courses will be held online. Participants can choose one of the following tracks:

  1. “Computer Skills for Work” (Google services, online communication, AI tools) — 1.5 months;
  2. “Project Management with AI” — 2 months;
  3. QA Manual (software testing) — 2 months;
  4. Digital Marketing — 4 months.

Residents of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy oblasts are invited to participate.

How to apply?

The selection process consists of several stages, and the number of places is limited. Applications can be submitted through the Beetroot Academy platform. More information about the program is available on the Beetroot Academy website.

The project is implemented with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.
