The Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services with the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine, plans to hold four interregional IDP Councils forums throughout 2026.
Event Schedule
Eastern Ukraine IDP Councils Forum (Dnipropetrovskа, Donetskа, Poltavska, Zaporizka, Kirovohradska, Kharkivska, and Sumska oblasts) — Dnipro, April 23–24.
Western Ukraine IDP Councils Forum (Lvivska, Rivnenska, Ternopilska, Volynska, Chernivetska, Khmelnytska, Ivano-Frankivska, and Zakarpatska oblasts) — Lutsk, May 28–29.
Central Ukraine IDP Councils Forum (Chernihivska, Cherkaska, Kyivska, Zhytomyrska, and Vinnytska oblasts) — Bila Tserkva, July 2–3.
Southern Ukraine IDP Councils Forum (Odeska, Mykolaivska, and Khersonska oblasts) — Odesa, September (exact dates will be announced later).
Representatives of IDP Councils, local self-government bodies, and partner organizations are invited to participate.
Discussion topics include:
- the influence of IDP Councils on local decision-making;
- contribution to community recovery and development;
- key challenges faced by internally displaced persons at the national level;
- the role of IDP Councils in the evacuation system.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their own cases, find partners, and contribute to shaping a shared vision for the development of IDP Councils.

Please note: submitting the registration form does not guarantee participation. If the number of applicants exceeds available places, preference will be given based on the motivation provided in the application and prior cooperation experience with the Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services.
The project does not cover Luhanska Oblast. However, we warmly invite representatives of IDP Councils from Luhanska Oblast, established within relocated communities, to join our events at their current place of residence. Choose the forum closest to you and register!
About the IDP Councils Forums
IDP Councils forums are annual local, regional, interregional, and national events launched by the Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services in 2022. They aim to bring together representatives of IDP Councils, government authorities, and international and national organizations to strengthen local democracy mechanisms and amplify the voice of internally displaced persons.
Over the years, interregional forums have become an important platform for networking and developing a shared vision for IDP Councils. Their key goal is to strengthen influence on local and national policymaking, build institutional capacity, exchange experience, advocate for key issues, and provide practical learning opportunities.
