Internally displaced persons (IDPs), as well as veterans*, people with disabilities, young people, and women, can receive a grant of up to UAH 139,100 to start or expand their own business. The programme is implemented by Helvetas Ukraine. The funding may be used for equipment, consumables, and consultancy services.
The programme is open both to individual entrepreneurs (FOPs) and to people without formal business registration who already have practical experience in a particular field or are planning to launch a business in Kharkivska, Cherkaska, Odesska, and Vinnytska oblasts. Priority will be given to IDPs and people who have returned home after displacement (the full list is available on the website). Special attention will be paid to applicants from small towns and rural communities.
The maximum grant amount is 139,100 hryvnias. The funding may be used to purchase equipment, pay for consultancy services, and cover consumable materials, provided that such expenses do not exceed 20% of the total budget. Organisers also recommend preparing the business plan carefully to avoid unnecessary tax burdens.
The programme supports a wide range of business sectors, including small-scale farming, construction, car repair services, clothing production, IT, education and healthcare services, tourism, beauty services, and food businesses (the full list is available on the website).
To apply, participants must submit an application form, a business plan using the required template, and photos, videos of their business activity, or a short video introduction. Applicants may also provide documents confirming their preferential status, if applicable. All files should be uploaded in advance to a cloud storage service with open access, and links must be added to the application form.
The online consultation session will take place on 3 June at 2:00 PM. The final application deadline is 12 June 2026. The review process may take up to eight weeks, after which all applicants will receive feedback regardless of the competition results.
