The International Renaissance Foundation, in cooperation with the Congress of IDP Councils, is conducting a survey dedicated to the role of IDP Councils as a tool for strengthening the participation and capacity of internally displaced women. Members of IDP Councils at all administrative levels are invited to participate.
The survey is part of a broader study aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of people’s experiences participating in IDP Councils, regardless of their role, status, or gender. Particular attention is paid to how membership in IDP Councils influences professional and personal development, the acquisition of new skills, opportunities, and future life trajectories.
The organizers seek to gather information on both the positive aspects of IDP Council activities and the challenges faced by their members. The results will serve as a basis for further advocacy efforts and program planning by the International Renaissance Foundation.
Representatives of IDP Councils at any administrative level are encouraged to take part. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 10–12 minutes.
The survey will remain open until May 25, 2026, and is fully anonymous. No information that could identify participants — including names, email addresses, or community names — will be collected during the data-gathering process.
