Report on the Results of Consultations with IDP Councils on the Establishment of a Coordination Body

How can IDP Councils work effectively? What challenges do they face today? Is there a need to establish a coordination body for them? Answers to these and other questions can be found in the Report on the Results of Consultations with Members of IDP Councils conducted in August 2024.

Purpose of the Consultations

The discussion was part of the process of creating a non-governmental organization to coordinate IDP Councils (Congress of IDP Councils NGO). To ensure the high-quality preparation of this association’s charter and to consider the opinions of all stakeholders, the Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” conducted consultations with representatives of IDP Councils, local self-government bodies, and non-governmental organizations from various regions. The results of these consultations are presented in this report.

The official announcement of the establishment of the Congress of IDP Councils NGO was made during the II All-Ukrainian Forum of IDP Councils, which took place on August 27–28, 2024, in Kyiv.
