Grants for Civil Society Organizations: Up to UAH 1.3 Million to Strengthen IDP Participation

Grants for civil society organizations under a new competition launched by the International Renaissance Foundation: IDP Councils can join the projects. The “Voice: Participation that Shapes Decisions” competition aims to strengthen IDPs’ influence on decision-making in communities, with a total budget of UAH 11.15 million.

The competition supports initiatives focused on representing IDPs, their participation, and protecting their interests. Priorities include strengthening the influence of displaced women and men on policies and decisions, dialogue with local authorities, needs assessments, and monitoring the implementation of decisions.

Civil society and charitable organizations with at least one year of experience in systematic work on internal displacement and experience cooperating with local self-government bodies are invited to apply.

Important: Priority will be given to projects that provide for meaningful partnerships with IDP Councils in identifying problems, developing solutions, and monitoring results. Solutions that can be adapted for other communities or regions are also encouraged.

Funding: The recommended budget for one project is UAH 1–1.3 million. Projects may run for up to 9 months.

Application deadline: October 9, 2026, by 3:00 PM Kyiv time. The competition results are expected to be announced by November 6, 2026.
